Fort Parker - April 2015

Fort Parker turned out to be a great event this year after a slow start. Friday brought the chance of storms, so most stayed home, including my plane! I drove out and we had one 140A and a Bonanza. Saturday I flew over and we had a pretty good turnout. There was some confusion with Waco Approach and after Chuck landed in his Bonanza we got to meet what seemed like ever police officer in the county. They thought he was going into Mexia and saw him go down short of the airport. A quick phone call had it sorted out. On Saturday we had one incident, but a slightly bent prop was replaced and he was on his way.
