Hidden Pines Fire 2015 - Smithville, TX

In October of 2015 a fire was ignited accidentally by farm equipment.  It was ultimately burn 4600 acres and almost 70 homes.  I spent some time at the Smithville airport taking photos of the hardworking crews in their helicopters.  I know the community is very thankful for these guys and the hundreds of firefighters and volunteers that came in from all over the state.
